Taylor Cottano is a lifelong student of healthcare. He is a businessman, an entrepreneur, a mentor and one of the top healthcare compliance consultants in the nation. He has worked with a range of healthcare providers at all levels of practice across a variety of industries to help them become better leaders and provide safer care to their patients. Along the way he has created strategic workflows and tactics that help hardworking healthcare providers and organizations increase revenue while maximizing efficiency.
Taylor knows that working in healthcare is not easy and wants to simplify it for others. He has a gift for translating regulatory standards and requirements into simple, doable protocols that allow organizations to achieve long-term regulatory success and profitability.
Taylor is a nurse at heart and has always had a passion for helping others. He entered the healthcare industry as a front-line nurse at a Level 1 Trauma Center where he specialized in critical care in both medical and surgical intensive care settings. He immediately saw a need for regulatory support through his time working the bedside and after numerous requests by organizations for assistance, Southern EVALS was formed.
Over the years Southern EVALS grew into one of the Top Healthcare Consulting and Staffing firms in the nation. Their Big Vision is to impact the lives of 1 billion patients through the success of 10,000 healthcare providers. Taylor’s dedication to customer service and transparency has led to explosive growth over the past 8 years! Currently SE Health services 30 States, has a team of 20+ expert consultants and has provided over 250 contract nurses to facilities nationwide.
Through his work at SE Health, he has helped hundreds of healthcare organizations successfully prepare and navigate through regulatory survey where most recently, he and his team had 0 Infection Control survey findings in the facilities they worked with throughout the entire COVID-19 pandemic.
He was recently recognized by the IFAH as One of the Top 100 Healthcare Leaders in the Nation and was the youngest Certified Infection Preventionist in the Nation. He has spoken to a wide range of audiences across the United States and is a nationally recognized expert regarding Healthcare Compliance. He, his wife Meggie and their daughters Kylie Kate and Mary Bess are resident of Pineville Louisiana. Passionate about giving back to their community, they share their time and resources with local and national non-profit organizations.
