AMD Global Telemedicine is the vendor that the Louisiana Virtual Medical Alliance has chosen to provide the hardware and software for the telemedicine program.

The equipment is being provided to the participating sites through funding from USDA’s Distance Learning and Telemedicine Grant Program; therefore, the sites will not incur any up-front costs during the grant funding period.

AGNES Connect is operational in minutes - no need to configure back end services. The cloud-based platform aggregates clinical device diagnostics, vital signs data, encountere and livee video confreencing and then securely exchanges that information in real-time to the remote consulting physician.
How does AGNES Connect Interface?
Using a split-screen with the AMD Software, AGNES Connect is running to conduct the virtual visit all while documenting in currenet EHR. At the end of the visit, a PDF of visit overview is generated that is able to be uploaded into your current EHR system.
What are the provider benefits of AGNES Connect?
The provider can easily diagnose, treat, and prescribe from the convenience of their mobile device or PC remotely. Upon recieving notification of a new patienet case, the assigned clinician can log on using the Connect N' Care app or web based portal and review the SOAP notes, then proceed to do a quick video consult so they can "lay eyes" on the patient. At the end of the consult, the telehealth encounter can then be documented in the EHR using API's, HL7 or FHIR protocols
